Personal training
When you train with me, you get my own special brand of motivation. I live and breathe for training, and most of my clients find my enthusiasm infectious.
As a level 4 personal trainer - the highest level of industry recognition - I'm qualified to work with people who have special conditions like arthritis, diabetes, or joint replacements. I also specialise in training those with lower back pain and women who are pre- or postnatal. Competition conditioning is another area where I excel, drawing on my background as a highly successful martial artist.
You'll start with a lifestyle health questionnaire, followed by a face-to-face physical assessment session. In that first meeting, I'll answer any questions or doubts from your questionnaire, review your food diary, and set realistic goals based on your current fitness level and daily responsibilities. All training sessions take place at my private fitness studio in Norwich. Over the past 12 years, I've helped clients achieve incredible results in fitness levels, body composition, self-esteem, and competition performances.

Online training
Online training works brilliantly for those who prefer to stay active at home, and the good news is that it works brilliantly. It's an excellent way to stay active at home whilst remaining inspired and supported. All you need is a phone or tablet and the relevant equipment.
Depending on your fitness knowledge, you can either book a private 30-minute face-to-face session where I'll assess your fitness and technique, or jump straight into an online session. If you choose the assessment route, I'll evaluate your posture and technique to prepare you for the exercises you'll perform during online sessions. All online sessions run through Zoom.

My HIIT, bodyweight, kettlebell, and spin online classes bring the Train For Life experience right to your home. All you need is a phone or tablet and the relevant equipment - no commuting required. The classes run on a regular schedule: bodyweight sessions on Wednesdays, HIIT on Mondays and Thursdays, kettlebells on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays, covering everything from equipment-free workouts to technical kettlebell sessions.
The HIIT classes create a friendly but competitive environment where we track how much each participant lifts and how many reps they complete. In just 30 minutes, you'll raise your metabolic rate, work on body composition through resistance training, and burn serious calories. The kettlebell sessions focus on mastering basics like snatches and cleans with variations - these technical exercises make resistance training more enjoyable through improvisation and variety. Spin classes remain hugely popular across all ages and fitness levels, with a 45-minute session potentially burning around 500 calories depending on your intensity.
If you're already doing weekly personal training sessions with me for a minimum of three months, all online sessions are included in your package. It's the best way to maximise your training and stay connected with the community throughout the week.
