Train For Life Introduction to Fitness

This is the FREE TASTER (to Book)

Depending on your Fitness knowledge you can either chose a private 30 minutes face to face session where your Fitness and Technique are assessed or directly take part to an Online class.

  • A private FREE 30 minutes face to face session where I will assess your posture and technique to prepare you to the exercises you will have to perform during the classes. It is an excellent way to start training, you will learn the basic of body weight, free weight and kettlebell exercises.

  • Attending the FREE TASTER is another way to start and will be more suitable for people with more Fitness Knowledge and experience.

High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT)

Monday 12-12.30pm, Thursday 6-6.30pm

The king of the sessions, this class is inspired by Crossfit's Workout Of the Day (WOD) with an important spin. We pay attention to the re I very time, so we do work our Strength and not just the Endurance.

Usually divided into 2-3 different workouts, each 10 minutes long. There is a clear Strength focus in the session, in other words we do not do CARDIO WITH WEIGHT, We actually Weight Training.

Suitable for all level. During the class I make sure to adapt the exercises to everyone Fitness knowledge and level.

A Fun and demanding Kettlebell session where the basics kettlebell techniques such as snatches and cleans are revisited with some variances.

Kettlebell exercises are technical and versatile. They make resistance training mor Fun as they allow for a lot of improvisation.

Why Kettlebells? Fat gets the ol’ one-two-three punch. First, there is the extremely high metabolic cost of throwing the weight around. Second, it’s a strength training workout creating dense muscle mass, which burns calories from fat stores all day long while increasing your resting metabolism. Finally, combine that with the fat burning effects of human growth hormone that is stimulated by these kinds of whole-body, complex movements. There is no better way to burn fat.

Kettlebell


Tuesday 6.35-7.05am, Friday 6.45-7.15am, Sunday 9.30-10.30am

Spin classes, also known as Indoor Cycling, are by far the most popular, gym members of every age, gender and level of fitness attend the sessions. A spinning workout of 45 minutes may allow you to burn around 500 calories, which is a huge amount when compared to other types of workout (however, the amount of calories you burn will depend on the intensity you work at). The resistance of the bike can be adjusted to suit your fitness levels.
